FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Ken Stewart's Lodge - Good Restaurant, Bad NeighborOpen Letter to Bath Township TrusteesApril 22, 2007 Ken Stewart’s Lodge is a pretty good restaurant…but is
proving to be a bad neighbor. He
acts like a neighbor with a constantly barking dog that annoys the neighborhood,
disturbing peace, day or night and is a real nuisance.
The real issue here is that Ken’s dog in If Ken wishes to muck up a really great Historic District and State of Ohio Sponsored Scenic Route…then let’s boycott the reason we let him in the neighborhood in the first place, his restaurant. I’ve already cancelled two business meetings there this past week and looking forward to moving business to the Clear View and other great establishments! Residents of
Mr. Stewart, Please Change Your Mind!Open Letter to Bath Green and Ken StewartApril 28, 2007 Bath Green Thanks so much for fighting this fight. We moved to Bath 2 and a half years ago and are in full support of keeping Bath "Cell Tower Free". We are boycotting Ken Stewarts and would like to see him change his mind. It is a sad thing that somebody who has been blessed so well by this community would make such a poor choice. The entire community is opposed to this. I would hope that Ken would be a better neighbor and think very long and hard about going through with such a community opposed structure. Completely hoping for a "Tower Free" Bath.
Joining BoycottOpen Letter to Bath Green and Ken Stewart
April 22, 2007
Dear Bath Green,
Right on!! Ken has shown once again how mercenary he is at the complete
disregard of the community.
We will join the boycott of the Lodge (and his Grille) and do whatever else we
can to assist in the effort to stop the construction of the cell tower.
Keep us informed.
We understand Jeff Andrew has organized a petition drive. Please let us
know where and when we can sign it.
Best regards,
Bath Residents
Joining Boycott - No More Celebrating with KenOpen Letter to Bath Green and Ken Stewart
I choose to celebrate many key moments in my life at Ken Stewart’s, 50th
Birthday both mine and my husband, Shower, girls’ night out, and many
business dinners. I was proud of the fine dining and wonderful
enhancements that were made to the appearance of Bath . I was a show
case to our community. It is extremely disappointing that Ken does not
share in the wonderful unique things in or rural Bath .
I have cancelled my reservations to entertain business dinners at his establishment. He no longer is something I want to show off to the many guests that visit our company. Resident of Bath 20 years
T-Mobile is Wrong! - Schools Should Get RevenueOpen Letter to Bath Green and Ken StewartI am outraged that T-Mobile did not try to put this on school property so the community and school could benefit from the income. Poor decision for T-Mobile. I will never use their service. I have many friends in the telecommunication industry, progress and harmony with nature should be always be our quest. Support Keep Bath green. Signed Lifetime Bath Residents PS I speak for my neighbors as well
Cell Tower Destroys Horizon Views!Open Letter to Bath Green and Ken StewartMy wife and I, Bath residents, enjoy walking in the Bath Nature Park , with beauty all around unsullied by commercial views But what do we have to look forward to seeing on the horizon? A very tall tower with a huge flag on top! It’s out of place! Signed Lifetime Bath Residents
Bath is Beautiful - Commercialization is WrongOpen Letter to Bath Green and Ken StewartWe are very upset about this. I grew up in Hudson and love so much their efforts to keep the town looking Historic. I see so many towns going commercial and Bath is so beautiful; My husband and I are upset and will not be celebrating this year’s special occasions at The Lodge. Signed Stow Residents who are Friends of Bath
No Cell Phone Tower - Monitory Value For SchoolsOpen Letter to Bath Green and Ken Stewart
We who are residents (four) of Bath do not want this tower. I have not
been too impressed with the quality of the food or service the two
times that we've dined at the Lodge, maybe this is a way to cover the cost
of lost business. We now dine at the Bistro at Hammond Corners. If this
tower does bring in monitory value, then yes, it should go to the schools.
